Bio

Chris Spigner is the head coach here at CrossFit 7 Mile. He specializes in CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting and motivating his athletes to be the best they can be. “I love my job, my family, my friends and the people that I get to interact with at 7 Mile.” Coach Chris’ start in the fitness world came by way of playing a wide range of sports in his childhood. He played collegiate baseball taking his team to the National Championship game and played minor league ball for a few teams including the Boston Red Sox’s minor league team. “After my baseball career ended, I lost my way for a few years. I gained 60 pounds, wore size 40 pants, drank too much, smoked all the time, and ate terrible food. I discovered CrossFit and it saved my life. I then realized I loved helping with the people in the classes even more than I enjoyed training myself. I tried to soak up all the information I could from the coaches, got certified, and then the stars aligned for me to come to Cayman! Best decision I have ever made.”
