7 Mile offers three running programs throughout the year aimed to improve your running ability no matter your ability.  Couch to 5k, Couch to 10k and our Marathon Training programs are taught under the expert supervision of a certified run coach.

Couch to 5k & 10k:  If you’re looking to improve your running ability but aren’t quite looking to commit to a full or half marathon, we have a great course for you. The Couch to 5k & 10k Endurance Class teaches running as a skill for beginning runners training for their first race.

In this course we will focus on foot strike and gait improvement, while building distance through interval trainings. We highly recommend all of our athletes take this course at some point in their fitness journey to understand the true skill that goes into endurance running.

Marathon Training:  The CrossFit 7 Mile Marathon and Half Marathon running program teaches running as a skill. This course is seasonal and will meet 3 x per week under the coaching of experienced ultra distance, running coach, Scott Ruby.

In this course, we will focus on the components that go into a successful half and full marathon which means racing the distance, not simply surviving it. You will learn about race strategy, proper fueling, hydration, sodium intake, shoes, sock, kits, and run gadgets. This course is a must for anyone who is looking to seriously improve their long distance running skills.
